Shakaama Returns

Shakaama's Blog
Shakaama’s Blog

After a 3 year vacation on another network, which shall not be named, I have returned to WordPress. I have nothing bad to say about the other network, but their heavy-handed actions were intolerable. I am not saying that this network is better, nor offers a relief from the other network, but the difficulty I had on the other network was never experience here.

New Direction

The direction I want to take this blog is in the financial. I have discovered, on my brief journey away, that Americans are terribly uneducated about finance, economics and politics. Notice we have a saying of, “never discuss politics nor religion.” Now, the understanding is that it is “impolite” to discuss politics and religion. I would put it to you that, if people WERE to discuss politics and religion, as a normal, average, every day occurrence, we would discover that more and more people would UNDERSTAND what is behind politics and what is behind religion.

"Don’t Call Me African-American" says he

“Don’t Call Me African-American” says he

In response to my article and video “I’m not African-Amercan” says he, many people defended themselves saying that they hadn’t been to Africa and denied being from there.

All original people, Nubians (Blacks), came from Africa.

“But I never been to Africa.”

Now apparently they didn’t read the last paragraph. Italian-Americans call themselves Italian, even 3rd and 4th generation. Sweedish-American call themselves Sweedish, again even 4th generation. It is only in the Nubian community that we find a major sector of the group that does everything they can, to distance themselves from both their heritage and their continent of origin.

This country has a history of treating Nubians as second class citizens, and sub-humans. It would behoove us then, to be excellent, better than whites, in all things, and to eggregiously remind them that we are Nubians, and that the motherland and origin of man, is in Africa.

“Most Black folk don’t even know where they came from in Africa.”

Of course 80% of the African-American population that do not know their actual country of origin is in Africa.

  • We were destroyed for 60 years.
  • Our families were destroyed.
  • Our names were destroyed.
  • Our heritage was destroyed.
  • Our religion was destroyed.
  • Our culture was destroyed.

It is no mystery 200 years later they cannot trace their root beyond 5 generations. Yes, even Nubians can trace their predecessors 5 generations up.

A lot of people think that Articles like this, speeches like this and debates like this are unnecessary. The problem is, the conversation has never taken place, even between Nubians. The general population reads things like this and bury their heads in the sand, hoping it will go away.

Nubians were rounded up, slaughtered, psychology destroyed, sold into chattel slavery, treated like chattel by society and by the law of the land, “set free”, and are still treated like chattel to this day.

The national opinion of Nubians is that we are still sub-human chattel, unfit for anything other than physical, low-paying labor. It doesn’t matter that one half-Nubian became president. It doesn’t matter than one Nubian is an astrophysicist. It doesn’t matter that one Nubian is a brain surgeon. The national opinion is that Nubians are unfit and not to be trusted.

Until Nubians realize this, comes to terms with this, comes to grip with this and realize that we cannot change opinion, and that we do not need to change opinion about us, then and only then can we proceed to the next logical step.

The jews put out holocaust pictures, movies, television shows, documentaries every month. No one says they are harping on the past. But, if a Nubian says that Nubians are being mistreated in this country presently, they are told, “stop living in the past, stop bring old things up.”

Just Have Faith

Just Have Faith

Have you ever heard someone tell you, “just have faith”?  Let’s look into this word briefly, before we delve into what is really going on here.  You cannot have a discussion unless all the terms are understood by both sides.  So first let’s look at the word faith, itself.  Faith is defined as: belief that is not based on proof. So you have to believe something, but have absolutely no evidence of it. For the most part, most of our modern day learning is based on absolutely no evidence.  But, we don’t say that it is faith.  We say the things we learn in school are based on evidence of reading something that someone else has read from the source.  Or, so the story goes.  It is actually no true, but we pretend that school text books are based on fact.

Black Jesus Walks on Water

So we have a religious system in place that is not based on fact.  In fact, most of the Christian belief system is based on complete lies.  Is that harsh of us to say that?  No.  Not if you have read historical documents and gone to the source of the information.  Do you want proof?  Well, we are not going to tell you to have faith that what we are saying is true, without evidence.  We would like for you to see for yourself.  If you belong to a Christian church with a minister / priest, ask them a few key questions:

  • before Jesus was born, it says that King Herod had all the male children slaughtered to avoid Jesus’ birth, but King Herod predates Jesus some 300 years?
  • the birth of Jesus is amazingly celebrated on the 25th of December, yet his birth was clearly born during the summer months or 25th of March?
  • when Jesus was born it is said Mary and Joseph fled into Egypt, called Nubia, land of the Blacks, yet somehow Jesus, Mary and Joseph are always portrayed as being white people, how could they have blended in with Egyptians? [ note that the Muslim massacre of northern Africa had no occurred yet]
  • John the Baptist is said to have baptized Jesus, yet John the Baptist predates Jesus by some 100 years, as in he was already dead 100 years beforehand?
  • it is said King Herod beheaded John the Baptist, yet King Herod predates Jesus by 300 years, and predates John the Baptist by some 200 years?
  • the alleged apostles  of Jesus, those who are supposed to have lived and walked with Jesus in person, while he was alive, all wrote their gospels 300 years after the death of Jesus, and amazingly all 4 chosen by Irenaeus of Lyon?
  • none of the gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke nor John, were actually written by any of those people. They were written by anonymous sources and assigned to the supposed apostles of Jesus?
  • if the math was done on the gospels and the apostles, every apostle would have lived to be 70 – 90 years of age, mind you the life expectancy during 1BC was 29 in the Jewish population, and of that, only 2% of the population lived beyond the age of 50, all wealthy?
  • Mark’s gospel has 666 verses, not 678, although the NIV does not include the extra 12 verses. 12 verses were written some 50 years after the work was completed?  And, why does it have 666 verses to begin with?
  • all of the rest of the Epistles, Paul, John, Peter and James are all fake and not written by any of those men. Most were written by church scholars seeking to further the church and one, John, was written by followers of someone named “John”?
  • there are no historical documents written during the time of Jesus, which mention Jesus at all. None?  He was supposed to be famous and a miracle worker, surely the Jewish temple would write about him?  They write about everything but Jesus, not even in hatred of him?
  • Roman accounts show that several would-be Messiahs were executed and put to death, none of which were named Jesus?
  • Pontius Pilate is said to have asked the Jews which man should he spare, Jesus or a known murderer of Roman soldiers?  This is to have occurred on one of their holiest of days for the Jews?  And, thousands of Jews show up for the question?  And, the high priest says spare the murderer?  And, Pilate agrees?  None of this would have happened?
  • Osiris, Hercules, Mithra, Hermes, Prometheus, Perseus and others compare to the Christian myth. According to Patrick Campbell of The Mythical Jesus, all served as pre-Christian sun gods, yet all allegedly had gods for fathers, virgins for mothers; had their births announced by stars; got born on the solstice around December 25th; had tyrants who tried to kill them in their infancy; met violent deaths; rose from the dead; and nearly all got worshiped by “wise men” and had allegedly fasted for forty days?
A Crown of Thorns

If your minister can refute the evidence presented, then he is a fool or his teachings are foolish.  So the question is why does Christianity exist.  You have no further than to look at who were the first Christians.  The Jews were the first Christians.  They hated the Romans, with all of their heart.  The Romans treated them like dogs and had the power of life and death over them.  So, they got tired of the Messiah not showing up and wanted their own Messiah.  Unfortunately, noone came to save them from the Romans.  Also, the prophecies of the Messiah were hundreds of years off, as in it was not even the time for a Messiah.

Well now, if the gospels were written about 100 years after the fact and we know that no Jesus actually existed, Christianity, as we know it, was a religion of hope.
Jesus, clearly, was not the Messiah, the Jews had prophesied about.  The Jewish Messiah was to be a general with armies and he was to trounce the enemy.  Which enemy?  The prophecy never says.  The Jews at the time though hoped it was the Romans.
So if Jesus was not the Jewish Messiah, then who was he?
Well, for one, he never existed.  There was no Jew going around teaching Asian philosophy and performing miracles.  All the stories of Jesus popped up 100 – 200 years after the fact.  So he was a construct of the Christian religion.  In short, he is an imaginary figure made up by the Christian religion.  He is no more real the Mithras or Osiris, both whom closely, and nearly identically resemble Jesus, or shall we say, he resembles them.
All of the supposed prophecy fulfillment that Jesus supposedly fulfilled, were all false.  He never fulfilled any of the prophecies of being a Jewish Messiah.  You don’t have to just ask a Jew, why they don’t believe in him, you can simply go to the Jewish scripture and see for yourself.  The Jewish Messiah, was to be:
  • a general
  • have a massive army
  • have an empire from sea to sea
  • basically be like what later was to become the English empire [have no end to the empire]
The Jewish Messiah with His Sword

It is as simple as that.  That was supposed to be the Jewish Messiah.  None of this light streaming down, or stars shining on his manger, or wise men from the east visiting.  All of that, was borrowed from the church of Mithras.

What’s that?  You don’t know anything about the church of Mithras?  Sure you do, it’s called the New Testatment.  Read it, and word for word, you now have the Mithras religion down to the letter.  In fact, there is no way that Christianity can even claim they were original.  No part of Christianity can not be found in the church of Mithras.
So all of the gospels and the dates and the prophecies, which completely misquote the old testament [ we didn’t even go into how the old testament is misquoted in the new testament ] are all stolen from the Church of Mithras.  All of the stories about Jesus birth, all the way to his death are all written to coincide with the Mithras belief, NOT the Jewish belief.  Jesus comes from Bethlehem.  Jesus goes to Egypt.  A star shines over Jesus.  Wise men show up at his birth.  Mary is pregnant immaculently.  These are all church of Mithras teachings, not Jewish teachings.
Are we against the Christian faith then?  No.  In fact, we identify ourselves as Christian.  We just want you to know where your religion comes from.  We believe in god.  However, we do not believe in god just based on faith and that we should follow some other man, simply because he says have faith.  Clearly you cannot follow Jesus though.  Because if you read the new testament, he contradicts himself from book to book.  And, it isn’t just a case of a different way of saying something.  From book to book, on the very same subject, Jesus says the opposite of what he says in one book.  One book says be peaceful, the next says take up arms.  It is hogwash.  It is not a guide to how to live your life.  The old testament, is much more guideful.   If ever you have a problem, you can read the old testament and look up that problem and find out how to solve it.  What is amazing is that it is hundreds of years old.  It makes you wonder that man has not progressed.

Sunday: Can You Tell the Difference Between Mithra and Jesus?

Mithra and Jesus I Can’t Tell the Difference Can you?

Take this quiz.  See can you tell the difference between Mithra and Jesus.  What is really mind boggling is that I guarantee your minister / pastor / bishop / priest has no clue about this.  The cover up is so old that even they don’t know about it.  But, I seriously want you to see if you can tell the difference between them.  Keep in mind that Mithra was already 5,000 years old before Jesus suddenly appears out of nowhere.  And, Mithra was the state religion of Rome.  All celebrations were to Mithra.  Now, take the quiz and see if you can tell a difference between Mithra and Jesus.

Happy Sun day!

Mithra vs Jesus Quiz

Mithra Slays the Bull Who’s Blood Gives Life

Jesus was born to The Blessed Virgin Mary in a stable in Bethlehem.
Mithra was born to the Blessed Virgin Myrrha in a stable (some tales state a cave, with these conflicting accounts we can’t say for sure) in Bethlehem.

As per Legend Three wise men from the East bought gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh at Jesus birth

Mithras Birth is celebrated between December 25 and January 6.

Jesus had Twelve Disciples .
Mithra had twelve Disciples – symbolic of the Zodiac.

Mithra with Lamb on His Shoulders

Jesus resurrection is celebrated every year. on Easter, at which time he was resurrected.
Mithra resurrection was celebrated every year. His principal festival on what was later to become Easter.

Jesus and Mithra were both buried in a tomb and resurrected after three days.
In both religions this is referred to as The Three days of Darkness.

Before being crucified Jesus had his Last Supper with his twelve disciples
Before returning to heaven, Mithra had his Last Supper with his twelve disciples, representing the twelve signs of the zodiac.

Mithraists Celebrated a Myazda in which they drank wine and ate bread to symbolize the body and blood of Mithra.

Lamb, Mithra, 2 Fish

Purification through a ritualistic baptism was required of the faithful in both religions.

Jesus was identified with the Lamb & at times the Lion
Mithra was identified with the Lamb & at times the LionThe Mithraic Holy father wore a red cap and garment and a ring, and carried a shepherd’s staff
The Pope wears a red cap and garment and a ring and carries a shepherds staff.

Priests of Mithraism bore the Title father.
Catholic priests bear the Title Father – despite Jesus specific proscription of the acceptance of such a title

An inscription in the Vatican states , “He who will not eat of my body, nor drink of my blood, so that he may be one with me and I with him, shall not be saved.” This inscription is from the remains of the temple the Vatican was built over, a temple dedicated to Mithras.

Jesus is depicted with a Halo – Mithra is depicted with a Halo. Halo has synonymous meanings and relates to “The Light”
Both were referred to as “The light of the World.”

Birth of Sun God Mithra, All Were Celebrated on Dec 25th

Roman Emperor Constantine, who made Christianity legal throughout Rome, was a worshipper of Sol Invictus/ the invincible Sun. Sol Invictus is an amalgamation of trans-cultural solar deities including Mithras, and Apollo. Constantine recognized Jesus’ status in that pantheon almost immediately. Many of the Stories of his life and activities are symbolic of celestial events.

In modern times, ancient solar symbols are plentiful in Christianity .

Heaven and Hell

  • The worshippers of Mithras held strong beliefs in a celestial heaven and an infernal hell.
  • They believed that the benevolent powers of the God would sympathize with their suffering and grant them the final justice of immortality and eternal salvation in the world to come.
  • They looked forward to a final day of judgment in which the dead would resurrect, and to a final conflict that would destroy the existing order of all things to bring about the triumph of light over darkness.
  • There is basically very little difference between the beliefs of the two systems, in respect to their concepts of Heaven, Hell and purgatory.

Many of the Catholic and Orthodox beliefs, and legends that do not arise out of the Bible or Apocrypha have their roots in Mithraism and related Pagan belief systems.

Don’t Use His Name in Vain?

Where the Word “God” Comes From

We’ve been exploring the roots of Christianity and the top 3 religions Judeo / Christian / Muslim and how they are actually rooted and derived from the very pagan and heathen religions they allegedly denounce vehemently.  In the end the conclusion is always that Judaism / Christianity / Muslim are all simply variations on pagan religions and are simply popular pagan religions.  The fact they try to call themselves non-pagan is laughable when over and over, every major event these religions celebrate are directly stolen from pagan religions.  In the end, they are simply religions and not derived from any god they pretend to be from.

African Slaves

Speaking of god, how can you have a discussion on modern religions without knowing where the very word god came from?  You cannot.  So if we wish to discuss these religions let’s begin with the heart of all of these religions, the very being which they pretend to worship, god.  Just as before, the word god comes from… you guessed it… another pagan religion, the Hindu.  Unlike most other Americans, I have never considered Asian beliefs to ascend to the point of them being called religions.  They are more, Eastern Philosophies.  They are a way of thinking and living than they are, worshiping some obscure being that you have no control over and who in turns secretly controls your life.

Although the top three religions vehemently denounce these pagan religions, the very essence of their religion, god, the word, comes directly from these religions.  In fact, the top three religions did not have a word for god, until they heard it from these pagan religions.  Not only that, but the word, god, is a very recent invention and was not around when the three religions were formed and their “holy scriptures” were supposedly written.

On a huge side note, the word god, when it is brought over into the top three religions, takes on a very masculine form and the being is seen as a man.  The original idea of the word god, was a gender neutral being.  Why do we think this matters?  Because it points out that man formulated the word god and the concept of god.  Because these societies are patriarchal, man centric, they then formulate the idea that god is a man.  They could not conceive of a being that is gender neutral.  The most important being in their entire society then, has to be a man, because it then means that men, the gender, are in command and always right.

Oxford English Dictionary:

“god (gρd). Also 3-4 godd. [Com. Teut.: OE. god (masc. in sing.; pl. godu, godo neut., godas masc.) corresponds to OFris., OS., Du. god masc., OHG. got, cot (MHG. got, mod.Ger. gott) masc., ON. goð, guð neut. and masc., pl. goð, guð neut. (later Icel. pl. guðir masc.; Sw., Da. gud), Goth. guÞ (masc. in sing.; pl. guÞa, guda neut.). The Goth. and ON. words always follow the neuter declension, though when used in the Christian sense they are syntactically masc. The OTeut. type is therefore *guđom neut., the adoption of the masculine concord being presumably due to the Christian use of the word. The neuter sb., in its original heathen use, would answer rather to L. numen than to L. deus. Another approximate equivalent of deus in OTeut. was *ansu-z (Goth. in latinized pl. form anses, ON. ρss, OE. Ós- in personal names, ésa genit. pl.); but this seems to have been applied only to the higher deities of the native pantheon, never to foreign gods; and it never came into Christian use.

The ulterior etymology is disputed. Apart from the unlikely hypothesis of adoption from some foreign tongue, the OTeut. *gubom implies as its pre-Teut. type either *ghudho-m or *ghutó-m. The former does not appear to admit of explanation; but the latter would represent the neut. of the passive pple. of a root *gheu-.  There are two Aryan roots of the required form (both *glheu, with palatal aspirate): one meaning ‘to invoke’ (Skr. hū), the other ‘to pour, to offer sacrifice’ (Skr. hu, Gr. χέειν, OE. yéotan YETE v.). Hence *glhutó-m has been variously interpreted as ‘what is invoked’ (cf. Skr. puru-hūta ‘much-invoked’, an epithet of Indra) and as ‘what is worshipped by sacrifice’ (cf. Skr. hutá, which occurs in the sense ‘sacrificed to’ as well as in that of ‘offered in sacrifice’). Either of these conjectures is fairly plausible, as they both yield a sense practically coincident with the most obvious definition deducible from the actual use of the word, ‘an object of worship’.

Some scholars, accepting the derivation from the root *glheu- to pour, have supposed the etymological sense to be ‘molten image’ (= Gr. χυγόν), but the assumed development of meaning seems very unlikely.

Barnhart, Robert K (1995). The Barnhart Concise Dictionary of Etymology: the Origins of American English Words, page 323.

The earliest written form of the Germanic word god comes from the 6th century Christian Codex Argenteus. The English word itself is derived from the Proto-Germanic * ǥuđan. Most linguists agree that the reconstructed Proto-Indo-European form * ǵhu-tó-m was based on the root * ǵhau(ə)-, which meant either “to call” or “to invoke”.[4] The Germanic words for god were originally neuter—applying to both genders—but during the process of the Christianization of the Germanic peoples from their indigenous Germanic paganism, the word became a masculine syntactic form.[5]

The capitalized form God was first used in Ulfilas’s Gothic translation of the New Testament, to represent the Greek Theos. In the English language, the capitalization continues to represent a distinction between monotheistic “God” and “gods” in polytheism.[6][7] In spite of significant differences between religions such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, the Bahá’í Faith, and Judaism, the term “God” remains an English translation common to all. The name may signify any related or similar monotheistic deities, such as the early monotheism of Akhenaten and Zoroastrianism.

When used in English within a community with a common monotheistic background, “God” always refers to the deity they share. Those with a background in different Abrahamic religions will usually agree on the deity they share, while still differing on details of belief and doctrine—they will disagree about attributes of [the] God, rather than thinking in terms of “my God” and “your (different) God”.

So we can see quite a few things from just studying the origins of the word god.  First, that it is derived from pagan religions.  If your being of worship and the center of your religion is derived from a pagan concept, what does that make your religion?  If your being of worship is directly derived from idol worship, what does that make your religion?

I know these are heavy concepts to accept and probably, for some of you, grasp, but noone else talks about it, and you know us, we talk about things people are afraid to talk about.

Are we afraid god is going to strike us dead for talking “bad” about “him”?  Not in the least bit.  We think the modern religions got the teachings of their religion wrong.  It’s wrong in practice, and the concept was never embraced.  You cannot have a religion both teach about love, which all 3 do, and yet through the “religion” endorse slavery, murder, war, genocide.  That’s where the practice of the religion diverges or goes away from the teachings of the religion.

There is a saying, “Man is fallible, but God’s Word is infallible.”   Obviously whoever said that, did not scream that loud enough.  The religions have twisted the very ideas that they are pretending to worship.  They have used a message of hope and love to torture people with and render brilliant people dumb and killing themselves.  Millions of Africans were taught, worlwide that they must bow to the white man and discard all of their former names, beliefs, heritage, because “god” told them so and that “god” wants them to be slaves to white men.  And, what’s worse, the Africans did discard their own beliefs, heritage, names, history and lineage to bow down to the very “god” they were taught, put them in slavery, and they never went back to their own ways.

The top 3 religions are nothing more than religions.  They are nothing different than Voodoo, Hindu, Shinto, Osirian Worship etc.  They are simply religions.

Sunday: Give Me That Old Time Religion

What is Religion?

The people in America feel that everything they started is the newest, bestest, most special thing on the planet.  They also think that everything they started is the most pure and innocent.  But, the reality is that behind every idea in this country, someone is sitting in a grand hall somewhere, who actually started and sent their “people” out to get the people to make it popular.  Most times, it’s done simply for the love of money.  Take religion, for example.  Everyone thinks the country was started based on some innocent and moral Christian ideal.  It is not true in the least bit.  Oh, don’t get me wrong.  Telling elementary school kids that the pilgrims came to run from persecution is a great story, but it is not the truth, in the least bit.  America was started for money pure and simple.  But, we tell each other these lies so that we can feel better about ourselves.  You cannot sell, “land of the free, and home of the brave” if the truth is rich men were sent here to basically be lords and duke over huge tracts of land, we know now as states and from day one they wanted cheap labor, like the Mexicans we have today.  Back then, they were called indentured servants, and then slaves.

This notion that religion played a part in this country is so ingrained in people that they refuse to believe this country was a money venture then, and is still a money venture today.  Instead of slaves and indentured servants, we simply have the poor and middle class.  And, religion still keeps the masses upon masses of people from rising up and defeating the upper class and becoming masters of themselves.

Let’s look at religion for a second.  The entire foundation of this new country is a mere two centuries.  It is a drop in the bucket, in the history of man. Yet, Americans delude themselves with the opiate of religion telling themselves that they are better than other countries because we take care of our poor and have charity for the disabled.  It is so far from the truth, as to be not even conceivable that one could tell one self that.  Other countries truly take care of their poor and truly take care of their disabled.  The current administration passed a law stating that charitable donations are taxable to nearly every penny donated.  In other words, “give to charity and we’ll tax you”.  Apparently churches and charities don’t have enough money to lobby congress to get that repealed.  Oh, there’s that word money again.

The country is also sold on the marketing scheme that Christianity is the only religion on the planet that leads to this so called Heaven.  In fact, no other religion on the planet, today, has so many splinter groups.  Everyone wants to call themselves Christian and yet wants their way of being a “Christian”.  But, they all agree that other religions, definitely are not the way to get to Heaven.  The truth of the matter is, Christianity is just another religion among religions: Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Scientology, Sikhism, Taoism, Baha’i, Confucianism, Vodun, Asatru, Druidism, Goddess Worship, Wicca, Witchcraft, Caodaism, Damanhur Community, Deism, Druze, Eckankar, Elian Gonzalez religious movement, Gnosticism, Gypsies, Hare Krishna – ISKCON, Ifa, the religion of the Yoruba people of West Africa, Lukumi, Macumba, Mowahhidoon, Native American Spirituality, Rom/Roma/Romani/Rroma (a.k.a. Gypsies), Santeria, Satanism-The Church of Satan, Unitarian Universalist Symbol Unitarian-Universalism, The Creativity Movement (formerly called World Church of the Creator), The Yazidi branch of Yazdanism, Zoroastrianism.

For the most part, religion is a case of location and not a case of actual belief.  If you’re born in a certain country, for the most part, you’re going to have a state religion that everyone believes in.  Americans like to delude themselves that there is no state religion, while 75% of the country believes in Christianity.  Is that by accident?

According to David Barrett and team, there are 19 major world religious groupings in the world which are subdivided into a total of about 10,000 distinct religions. Of the latter, there were 270 religions and para-religions which had over a half million adherents in the year 2000 CE. Within Christianity, they have identified 34,000 separate groups (denominations, sects, individual unaffiliated churches, para-church groups, etc) in the world. “Over half of them are independent churches that are not interested in linking with the big denominations.”

Even considering a single religion, Christianity, within a single country, there are often thousands of individual “Christian confessions and denominations.” For example, Barrett et al. states that there are:

  • 4,684 groups in the U.S.
  • 3,364 in South Africa.
  • 2,079 in Nigeria.
  • 1,581 in Brazil.
  • 1,327 in South-central Asia.

Among other English-speaking countries, there are:

  • 828 groups in the UK.
  • 469 in Canada.
  • 267 in Australia
  • 175 in New Zealand.

But, you might be asking yourself, what is the “true religion”.  Here’s a quote that might shock you:

“…just because you don’t bow on your knees and worship an idol or an invisible being, does not mean you are not a Satan worshiper. The worship of any other god (s) is the same thing. There are no other gods. They are demons and Satan is in control of them.” From the website http://www.exposingsatanism.org

I’m sure a lot of Christians would be horrified if they found that they were worshiping Satan all this time, all the while thinking they were being pure and holy.

Everyone wants to believe that they have the true religion.  But, what does “God” want?  Many have claimed that they have prayed and asked “God” and come to the conclusion that he told them to start a religion.

When people pray to God for enlightenment, most seem to conclude that their own religion and faith group is the true one. If people could access the will of God on this matter, then a vast majority of the world’s population — the folks who pray — would realize that their faith group was not the true one. They would gradually migrate to the true religion. There would eventually be only one religion and one tradition within that religion left standing. Otherwise, people would be rejecting the will of God. All the other 11,000 religions and their tens of thousands of denominations or traditions would be phased out.

Think about that for a second.  If we could pray to “God” and ask him what his true will would be, the Christian religion would be wiped out, Judaism wiped out, Islam wiped out and we’d be left with one world religion and only one sect of it.

In America we have marketing.  You cannot just be a Christian.  You HAVE to go and get your neighbor to be a Christian too.  Apparently, “God” needs help with people getting to believe in him.  Maybe, he’s not as powerful as Christians say he is.

It is illogical.

You cannot have both an ALL-POWERFUL “God” and yet he can’t convince the person next to you that they should believe in him?  Either he is not all-powerful and not a “God” at all, or your religion has no basis in a “God” to begin with.  Because, an all-powerful being does not need an ant like you to convince people that he is all-powerful.  The right conclusion then, is that you are caught up in a marketing scheme and your “religion” has no basis in actual fact.  It makes more logical sense that you are spreading your religion, and not a belief in “God”.  People seem to confuse their religion with reality.  If you say to them that, they believe in a religion and not believe in “God” they get very defensive.  In fact, they cannot divorce themselves from their religion.

For instance, if you said to a Jew to work out the logic behind “God” being the creator and making everything perfect, and “God’s” need for men to circumcise themselves, they would go into their religious diatribe and not give you any logical answer how the two can coexist.  If you said to a homosexual Christian how they could call themselves a Christian, when the religion itself has many many direct strictures about being homosexual, they would go into their personal beliefs and how they can be both homosexual and yet still try to belong to the religion.  If you said to a Christian to explain how the founder of their religion, Jesus, was a Jew and yet Christians have hated Jews for over 2,000 years and even slaughtered them left and right, they cannot.

For most Americans they have no idea that what they are worshipping is a religion and not actually “God”.  They have bought into some else’s marketing scheme and believe whole-heartedly that their religion is the one true religion and that ALL others are wrong.

The truth of the matter is, Christianity, Islam and Judaism are just a few religion in a vast sea of religions.  They are no more right than the other half a million religions around the world.  And, according to the scholar on satanism, they might all be simply a deception to get people to worship Satan instead.

Give Me That Old Time Religion

     (with apologies to Pete Seeger)

Give me that Old Time Religion,
Give me that Old Time Religion,
Give me that Old Time Religion …
    It’s good enough for me!

We will worship Aphrodite,
‘Though she’s kind of wild and flighty –
We will see her in her ‘nighty
And that’s good enough for me!

We’ll sing praises to Apollo;
Where the Sun God leads we’ll follow
(‘Though his head’s a little hollow) –
He’s good enough for me!

With the aid of my athame
I can throw a “double-whammy”
(And can slice and dice salami!)
So it’s good enough for me.

Let us raise a toast to Bachus,
We will raise a royal ruckus,
Then we’ll lay us down and f**k us –
That’s good enough for me.

It was good enough for Buddha,
As a god he kinda cute-a,
And he comes in brass or pewta’
So he’s good enough for me!

Well the Christians all are humming
‘Cause they say their God is coming;
Our God came three times this evening;
That’s good enough for me.

Uncle Crowley was a dreamer
At the Abbey of Thelema
But his magic is a screamer,
So it’s good enough for me.

When the clouds they are a’rumbling
And the thunder is a’grumbling,
Then it’s Crowley that you’re mumbling,
And it’s good enough for me!

We will worship Great Cthulhu,
We will worship Great Cthulhu,
And we’ll feed him Mr. Sulu
‘Cause that’s good enough for me!

It was good enough for Dagan,
A conservative old pagan,
Who still votes for Ronald Reagan,
But he’s good enough for me!

Well I’m tired of Ronald Reagan,
He’s too square to be a pagan,
Let’s all vote for Carl Sagan!
He’s good enough for me.

We all worshipped Dionysus
‘Till we ran into a crisis –
The bar had raised its prices;
That’s not good enough for me.

We will worship like the Druids
And drink strange, fermented fluids
And run naked through the woods
‘Cause that’s good enough for me!

We will go and sing “Hosanna”
To our good ol’ pal, Gotamma.
He will never flim or flam ya’,
And that’s good enough for me!

It was good enough for Isis,
‘Cause she comes through in a crisis
And she’s never raised her prices
So she’s good enough for me.

There are some that call it folly
When we worship Mother Kali.
She may not be very jolly
But she’s good enough for me.

Shall we sing in praise of Loki,
Though he left poor Midgard smokey?
Oh, his sense of humor’s hokey,
But he’s good enough for me.

It was good enough for Loki,
The old Norse god of chaos,
Which is why this verse doesn’t rhyme or scan,
But it’s good enough for me!

Montezuma liked to start out
Rites by carrying a part out
That would really tear your heart out,
But it’s good enough for me!

It was good enough for Odin
Though the tremblin’ got forbodin’
Then the giants finally strode in,
But it’s good enough for me.

There’s that lusty old Priapus –
He’s just itching to unwrap us.
(He’d do more to us than tap us
And that’s good enough for me!)

Shall we sing a verse for Thor,
Though he leaves the maidens sore?
They always come back for more,
So he’s good enough for me!

It was good enough for Venus,
Of the Gods she is the meanest
And she bit me on my … elbow
But she’s good enough for me!

There are those who practice Voodoo,
There are those who practice Voodoo,
I know I do, I hope you do –
It’s good enough for me.

Meeting at the Witching Hour
By the Bud and Branch and Flower
Folks are raising up the power
And that’s where I want to be.

Sunday: To Obey is Better Than Sacrifice guest post T.W.

Obey All of God’s Word

Cast Out of Eden

Man’s disobedience to God has been an issue from early Creation. Most people will be forced to agree with this. Remember Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. If Adam and Eve had obeyed God, and “not” the Serpent, we would all be still roaming around in the Garden, enjoying ourselves, and giving birth to obedient children, without pain.Instead most of us are shaking in our boots, and wondering if we are really going to spend eternity in heaven.

Just as Adam and Eve had a problem obeying God in their day, we as servants of God, still struggle with the issue of obedience. I know, because I struggle with the same problem.

Our subject was captured from a well known text in the Book of 1 Samuel 15:22

22. And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

The Lord spoke these words to Samuel, for our learning. Many times we human beings, even Christian people, get the idea that if we sacrifice things to God such as:

  • 1) our money,
  • 2) our time,
  • 3) attending church,
  • 4) praying,
  • 5) evening fasting,

that it makes up for the fact that we are disobedient to God. But these words spoken to Samuel in 1 Samuel 15:22, dispels this idea. There is absolutely no substitute for obedience to the Lord.

From the Book of Jeremiah 35: 1-19, there is, what I describe as, a wonderful story, about the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab, who are called the Rechabites. This story grabbed my heart the first time I remember reading it, and it has continued to touch my heart. What touched my heart about it was the fact that while the Rechabites obeyed their father, we disobey God Almighty, without even blinking.

Jeremiah 35: 1 -19

1. The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2. Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

3. Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

4. And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

5. And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

6. But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:

7. Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.

8. Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;

9. Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

10. But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

11. But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

12. Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

13. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.

14. The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.

15. I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

16. Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:

17. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

18. And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:

19. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

This is how this story unfolded. The sons or grandsons of Rachad were invited to the House of the Lord. Picture this, all the wine (the drug of choice of that day), one could possibly imagine. There were not mere bottles of wine, but pots full of wine. Enough wine for everyone of these young men to have their fill.

I am sure these men had no idea why they were being invited to go to the House of the Lord. They were probably excited about what was getting ready to happen to them. Wow! The Man of God has invited us! Whoopee! None other than Jeremiah the prophet! Perhaps they thought about the Psalm which said: “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of Lord!” Jeremiah shall no doubt give us a great prophecy! Yes!!!

But, as it turns out, it was not a prophecy at all. It was not even to worship God. But it was for the purpose of teaching us a great lesson in obedience. Not only obedience to God, but even to our parents as well. The Scripture said: “…..and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.”

The commandment their fathers had passed down to them, was not just one thing which they had been commanded to do, it was many things and it was perpetual. They were not to drink wine, them or their family after them. They were not to build houses, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyards, nor have any (vineyards), but all their days they were to dwell in tents.

Even ONE of these commandments, if passed down to us, from our grandparents, or even from God Almighty, would have been difficult for most of us to follow. But this family had a list of things they were expected to obey, and they obeyed them all the days of their lives, and because of their obedience, God blessed them.

Why did the Lord use these young men as examples to Israel, and to us? Because these men honored their parents’ words, more than Israel honored God! As I read this story, it seems that I can feel the heart of God weeping. The Lord has so loned to have a relationship with us, but He has not been able to prefect that relationship because of our disobedience.

The Lord told Jeremiah to tell the Rechabites men, that because they had obeyed their father’s words: “….Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.” This is the blessing the Lord gave to these men for their complete obedience to their father. What would He do for us, if we obeyed Him completely. My goal in life, is to obey God completely.

Testimony: There is a great longing in my heart to be close to God, like I use to be, and even more so. In pursuit of this goal, I asked the Lord in prayer one day: “What can I can to gain the relationship with you that I desire.” Prior to the items I am about to share with you, the Lord had already asked me to do something which took me years to adjust to: the Lord called me off my secular job. The following are three things the Lord asked me to do in later years: “a) Read the Bible from front to back, b) Fast three days a week, I could choose the days, and c) stop watching television.” “Stop watching television?!!” As I set out on this mission, the fight was on, I thought of every excuse in the book, as to why I needed to watch television. And I wasn’t the only one upset about this request. Others reasoned that I truly needed to watch T.V. in order to know what was going on in the world, etc., etc. I reasoned that I needed to at least watch Christian Television, and on, and on the battle ragged. Almost two years later, the Lord spoke to me again: “You have done two of the things I asked you to do, but you have failed to stop watching television.” And then again, the Lord said: “You are still continuing to accept jobs which I have told you “not” to do!” After many years of struggling, thank God, I have finally come to terms concerning these two issues.

Conclusion: In the Word of God, Jesus knew why He came to this earth. He knew exactly what He had to suffer, and what would happen to mankind, if, He did not accomplish His goal. Suppose Jesus had decided to disobey God the Father, and NOT to drink of the cup of death in the Garden of Gethsemane. We would have been eternally lost. The next time we are tempted to disobey God, let us keep this in mind: To obey is better than sacrifice. God bless you.
